Employment Standards will be Morden on Wednesday May 2, 2012, with a presentation on the 4 changes to the Employment Standards Code effective January 1, 2012.
They include;
Allowing Employment Standards to consider applications for Averaging Permits from all industries
- Allowing employees and employers to enter into individual flex-time agreements
- Allowing compensatory time off for General Holiday in climate-controlled agricultural operations
- Changes to termination rules, changing the exceptions for notice on termination from “Willful Misconduct” to “Just Cause”
